Emery’s POV

Just a few minutes later, someone knocked on my door again. Why does Carmen find it hard to obey my commands? If I say I am not hungry, she will probably force me to eat.

I was about to shout at her but my door opened. All I knew was that it was Carmen, but it was Cliff instead. I did not expect him to come here because of what happened to us earlier at the garden.

He walked towards me and handed me the food.
