Seeing Maya silent, Nayeem tried to start a conversation himself.

“You liked the party?”

Maya faced Nayeem for a moment, “Hmm. Pretty much.” and then again turned on her side, looking outside.

Though it wasn’t his expected answer, he forced a smile, “That’s great, then.”

Remembering something, Maya spoke up casually as she again turned to him, "Nayeem, isn't this pendant beautiful?" She held the pendant between her fingers.

“Yeah. It is.” Nayeem glanced at Maya and the pendant on her neck for once and then again looked forward on the road.

“I have bought it few days back.”

She told it out of nowhere to hear something from Nayeem....
