Hearing Nayeem, I got somewhat angry and my gaze averted to Maya immediately. But she was just smiling and that made me get blank. She turned to me the next moment and I kept looking directly into her eyes like I was searching something there.

But noting was there as per my expectation. I looked away and found our car parked by the entrance and the driver standing beside it.

Without saying anything, I walked towards the car and got into it. When others got into the car as well, the driver started the engine. I leaned back against my seat and closed my eyes.
