Sophie’s POV

My jaw dropped and taken by complete surprise, I stay fixed on the spot, staring down at the ground. I can hear the words reverberate in my ears over and over again.

"You are all dismissed… except number ten."

On a normal basis, I would have flaunted being chosen out of everyone here, but today something gives me an odd sense of déjà vu.

"I'll have to excuse you both, sir," the woman in charge says, raising her head and giving me a sharp murderous glance before turning to walk away from us.
