"What did you just say about escaping?" Raven asks,

My heart leaps in my throat as sweat breaks out on my brow. "Um, nothing. I was just saying that this place is the perfect escape." I reply, my voice shaky with nervousness.

"Oh, yes it really is. But be careful okay, like I said don't go anywhere alone for now, it's very dangerous to do so." A sigh of relief passes my lips. I almost thought I had been caught.

"I- I won't promise. It's not like I have anywhere to go." I say, trying to assure her further. She stares deep into my eyes like she's searching...
