I pulled into the parking lot, I stared at Jonathan's car that was parked in the parking lot. Mia's words keep playing in my mind.

I picked up my handbag and headed to the elevator, pressing the buttons, the door slid open and I stepped in.

My eyes fixated on the buttons going up till it eventually ended on my apartment floor. I stepped out as the elevator door opened.

Stepping into the apartment, my eyes stare at Jonathan's laptop and documents spread on the dining table. I scanned around he was nowhere to be found.
