Last night meant nothing to her, I thought this was the beginning of something more for me and Claire.

"I tried calling Caroline" Simon's voice interrupted my thoughts as I stared at him.

"Let me guess, she didn't pick" I chipped in, noticing the disappointment in his face as he took a sip of his drink. "Isn't it too early to be drinking"

"Now you prefer me sober than drunk," He said sarcastically.

"I prefer none, if it stops you from causing me trouble then so be it" I answered.
