(Jayden POV condt)

"Sir your food is here" The waiter said to him, jolting him to the present. Jayden had not realized he had completely zoned out.

"Thank you" Jayden responded.

The waiter set the food on the table and placed a bucket with ice. He placed champagne inside the bucket, bowed and left.

Jayden started eating his food and continued observing the people coming in and out of the court. He watched people go about their activities as he took a sip of his champagne.

His eyes caught a woman in a simple but elegant white dress looking so dejected and disoriented. From her outfit Jayden could tell that she was to get married. Jayden watched as she approached a corner and stopped. He could not really understand what was so captivating about the woman but he knew instantly that he was attracted to her. An attraction he had not felt since Anna. He could see the tears flowing down freely, she looked like she had been stood up by her husband to be. He had not showed up.

She opened her phone and her tears flowed more. Just then, Jayden's fun rang with notifications, he could not understand what was making his phone ring up so continuously. He tried ignoring it and instead focus on the woman who was making him feel something but the notification sound did not stop instead it continued more and moe, the sound increasing after each one.

Frustrated and realising he could not concentrate on watching the lady again, he reached for his phone to turn it off. Instead he realized that Wegram, the most popular social media app was on fire. Something caught his eyes, It was as a result of something his ex-bestfriend Dave had posted, curiously he opened his phone and went through the post on we gram. Immediately, he noticed that the girl he was looking at was the one Dave had humiliated. He read Dave's comment to her reply on the post. From her post he had gotten her name, Ariel a beautiful name for an extremely beautiful girl like Ariel. He read what she had said and realised that it was Dave that stood her up. They were to get married today and instead of breaking up with her properly, he posted an engagement picture of him and a lady named Brielle, so disgusting of him".

Jayden was not really surprised about Dave's actions. He was so selfish and had always thought about only himself, not caring how others felt. He had destroyed their friendship forever. Jayden did not want to think about it as it would only awaken past wounds. He reads Dave's post and caption and realised how cruel it was for Ariel.

In the post, Dave was on one knees at a beach resort, he was proposing to Brielle asing her to marry him and she said yes.

The caption was, "The love of my life says yes to my marriage proposal, she makes me the happiest man in the world, i've never felt this much happiness with any other woman,love is indeed sweet".

He could only begin to imagine how Ariel would have felt seeing Dave's post. He continued scrolling and saw Ariel's reply to the post.

She had posted a picture of when Dave had proposed to her. She Sent it as a reply to his post on him and Brielle's engagement.

"Brielle, you're just a side chick. When you're done cruising the world with my man, he'd come back to me, to marry me, the real woman of his dream".

She was not going to let Dave get away with hurting her, he smiled at the thoughts and admired her bravery but frowned when he saw Dave's response to her comment.

"It was never real with us, you were just a stepping stone girl. You are the biggest mistake of my life that I regret every day of my life. I wish i never met you"

Jayden could not believe his eyes.

After Dave's comment were several other people's comments. Most Of them were calling her names, saying that Ariel just wanted fame.

"You are such a stupid and helpless lady you probably forced Dave To take a picture with you, because why would he want to ta a picture, talk less of a romantic one with a girl like you."

"You are just Jealous. our dave could never have dated you"

"Brielle is way prettier than you so please stop embarrassing Dave"

"You his real woman? Babes you're deceiving yourself, stop being delusional".

" Are you dumb, he said you were his mistake, i am embarrassed for you"

" If i were you i would not wanna live again"

"You are a really shameless woman to come out like this"

"I do not know why Dave ever talked to you, you're so ugly"

"All this is bullshit, you probably just edited a picture of Dave and Brielle and put your face on it. Your are so hopeless girl, i am glad I do not actually know you"

"Brielle side chick? Babe she is the main girl, you are not even fit to be his side chick"

"Girl you just want fame, dave should have never met some one like you"

He could feel the pain she was feeling.

He looked at her again and realised that people too had noticed and were giving her evil glances. He watched as her expression turned from one of pain to one of vengeance. He watched her intently as she composed herself and started walking. He wondered what she was going to do and how she was going to channel her anger.

she approached his car, the next thing he knew she breaks the windshield, the sound of shattering glass echoed in the air, a burst of chaos. He watched her as She stepped back and waiting.

He immediately stood up and headed for the car.

"What have you done?" he asked, a smirk playing on his lips.
