Skylar
I pressed the button to the door and it opened. This time, he was lying on his bed, one of his hand rested to the back of his head and the other covered his eyes.
"Good morning," I greeted him but he ignored me.
He sat up while I went for the stool beside the bed. " How are you feeling?"
He made no comment.
He acted like I wasn't even talking to myself. And you know what? It's a lot better when you talk to yourself than when you're made to look like you weren't actually talking to anyone, not even to yourself.
Today, I decided running a test on his blood for a check up before I could think of prescribing anyother drugs to him.
According to Doctor Ivan, Logan's anxiety attack was like a nightmare, especially at night.
"Did you have any panic attack last night?"
For damn sake, he just ignored me for the third time.
" Mr Greene, I believe you can talk and if you really want us to get through with this, you have to at least reply my questions. You can't have me look like a fool all day. "
He was quite.
I tried not to bother if he actually talked to me or not. After all, it made things a little quicker for me. Unlike yesterday when he had to stare at me like a crazy clawn.
I quickly exited the room, heading to the parking lot and making my way to my hospital.
Lucky me, I had nothing much to do. I sat on my seat, going through his files, and sipping on my coffee I had bought from the Cafe downtown. I gulped it down not minding the hotness.
I scrolled down, learning more about him I hadn't know. Yes, I've heard much about him, maybe just not enough to know how much he had killed for.
According to his report, the total count of his victims were about a thousand and the total count of his victims per day were not less than ten.
But why?' I asked myself, "why would someone be so heartless to have thousand blood stained on his hands, yet finds it so enticing to do more? "

I hadn't know I had fallen asleep until when Vera woke me up.
"How long have I been asleep?" I asked, yarning.
" Two hours, I guess. " She said with a grin, trying to prevent herself from laughing.
" I shouldn't be sleeping. "
" C'mon Skylar, give yourself some break."
"I know but not now. I've got a lot to work on. " I told her stretching my limbs
" Talking about your new patient? "
I signed. " It's so hard for me to cope up with my work and working as a psychiatrist. I don't even have enough sleep anymore. Vera, I'm fucking tired. "
" Then you need some rest. " She persisted and I really appreciate how concerned she was.
" Doctor Ivan wants me to work on his treatment as fast as possible so he can return back to prison. Couple with the fact that he's acting dumb, everything seems so stressful. I want to be on bed resting for eternity but I don't think I can ever have such time until everything is back to balance. "
She nodded in agreement. " But you know, it still baffles me to see that you're treating a serial killer. Why is he still alive at the first place? He's better off being dead."
She's right. It's kinda crazily insane to have accepted Doctor Ivan's request at the first place. He should be dead, just like he killed people.
" What about Tony? " I asked changing the conversation. " How is he? "
" Tony is fine. He even asked of you. "
" Really? " I blushed, smiling. " He called? "
" Yeah, minutes ago. He also wants to see me today."
"So, what are you doing here?! " I yelled at her playfully.
" Chill Skylar, I came to check on you. "
" And I really appreciate your concern. Now, can you get out of here? "
" Okay. Okay. " She said in a surrendering way. She leaned over placing a kiss on my forehead.
"Don't forget to give me every details." I said.
"Every details. Bye." She said rushing out of my office.
I couldn't stop from laughing. Vera is your typical girl you will always want to have around. She was funny, jovial and playful at times. We were like sisters, and if not of our last name difference, people could have mistook us to be real sisters.
Back to business, I went on checking on his files. Scrolling down, more and more, I learnt. But then, my eyes caught up with something. Something I would say I shouldn't have came across. Don't blame me, I'm only doing my job.
I slammed my laptop, heading back to Van Nuys and of course, all eyes were on me like 'what's she doing here? '
Who cares?
I impatiently, or I'd rather say I angrily pressed the button. As if the door read my mind, it opened faster. Not minding if he was in or not, I spat the words out. "You're not suffering from an anxiety attack and there is nothing wrong with your brain. All these are nothing but acts of pretence, right? "
At first his face wore a surprise look, it later wear off to his shooting dagger stare.
I walked more closer to his bed, "I'm talking to you!"
He sat erect, giving me this hard stare. Right now, it doesn't matter how scary they were, does it?
"Have you been going through my files again? " He asked instead.
Is that a question?
I furrowed my brow in annoyance.
" Answer my question!" I snapped.
"You wanna know about me? You're wasting your time. I already told you, having a psycho problem, is what they think. " He stood up, walking more closer than I had walked to him. I made a step backwards. "If you wanna stay alive and keep breathing, you better act like you never found a thing. "
" Are you... threatening me? "
" I'm warning you. "
