I knew living in the apartment would be a problem the second I read the company’s mail. It was temporary shared housing with one bedroom each, common kitchen and living space, with keys already shared with the other tenant. The building was still half under renovation, which meant the only finished unit left was this one. Jax Harlan’s name was already on the lease beside mine.
