The deck had gone completely silent.
The sound of the waves against the yacht was suddenly too loud, too clear—filling the space where no one dared to speak.
All eyes were on Liora.
But she still refused to break.
“You’re lying,” she said, her voice trembling, but stubborn. “I tried to save you. You slipped, and I panicked—”
“That’s enough.”
My voice cut in, calm but sharp.
I stood fully now, water still dripping from my clothes, my hair clinging slightly to my shoulders. The marks on my neck were unmistakable under the sunlight.
“You didn’t panic,” I said quietly. “You tried to kill me.”
