I didn’t sleep.
Lucien swept through the estate like a storm after I called him, barking orders to tighten the perimeter, interrogate staff, scrub the surveillance logs.
But the damage was done.
Someone had gotten to Leo. Someone with clearance and confidence. Someone who walked our halls like they belonged here.
“Nothing’s missing from the records,” Rafael said the next morning, scanning his tablet as we gathered in the security room. “No unusual activity on the logs, no skipped codes.”
