I sat on the edge of the couch, my fingers digging into the cushion as I lifted my head to look at Nora pacing the living room.
Her footsteps were loud, echoing against the marble floor. Her hands were clenched so tightly her knuckles had turned white, veins standing out along her wrists, and her face was flushed red with rage.
