“You sure you want to go?”

Eric looks at Alex questioningly.

“I mean, it’s your sister’s wedding.” He shrugs.

Alex sighs as she leans against the wall. “I know.”

“And the guy hasn’t called. Not even once since he went to visit her,” Eric points out.

“That’s because he’s probably too ashamed to call or see her," Alex replies. "He’ll come around eventually. Until then, we have to wait."

“And I guess this is the last chance that I get to go. I would never forgive myself if I didn’t at least try to convince him to call her or show up at the wedding. She deserves to be happy....
