Daniel stares at her. He doesn't really understand where she's getting all of her courage from. It's not like he's angry or anything.

He doesn't even understand why she asked him to forgive her, or why she cares so much about that fact that they haven't told each other yet. Maybe she just has to apologize for keeping something from him for so long. After all, she's been keeping secrets from him for almost seven years.
