Silence came in-between us for a while. I was uncertain of what to say. I couldn't tell a lie because I already told her where I was headed earlier.

Damn! She caught me off guard.

“If you don't want me to come. There is no problem.” That was the word that came out of her mouth. I wondered why she made it so easy for me to decline her request. Her behavior was just too weird and now I was more confused than ever.
