When Jack had said he didn't know what we were going to face during the trials, I couldn't help to be more scared of what we were about to confront. Having to face the unknown wasn't a risk I wanted to take.

I was scared especially for Megan, I wouldn't be able to bear it, if anything happens to her during the course of the trials.

I knew that with great responsibility comes greater burdens but it shouldn't have to be at the risk of harm coming her way. I had lost her once before, I do not want to lose her again.
