We stared at ourselves in shock, but it was until the knock came again that we were able to regain our composure.

“Come in,” I ordered, and the door opened just for Alexis to appear with a small smile on her face.

I creased my brows, and quickly turned to glance at Megan to see her widen her eyes in shock.
