Beneath the oak tree’s branches, Bridget’s heart raced as she awaited Aaron’s arrival. The night was silent, except for the whispering leaves and the occasional rustle of forest creatures. She couldn’t help but wonder if Aaron would still be there, if he would share her yearning.

As the moments passed, Bridget’s anticipation turned into worry. Doubt crept in, and she questioned the wisdom of her decision. Just as she was about to turn and leave, a rustling in the underbrush caught her attention.
