I nodded my head.

"Much better." I responded, smiling.

"I wish that I could spend the rest of eternity with you like this." He said quietly.

I stared at him for a few seconds, wondering why he suddenly brought that topic up. However, I was glad that he did because I knew that I felt the same way. The last time we had done this... we hadn't exactly ended up being very happy.
