Charging up from my chair, I made my way out of the room. Hayden trailed behind me. “Where is he locked up exactly?”

“The den.”

My feets hurried towards the stairway which was after the living room but just as I passed by the living room, Lady Lucina suddenly appeared in front of me.

“Alpha,” she greeted with a smile as usual and I managed to return it.

“Lady Lucina,  why are you here this early?”

She sighed and shook her head sadly. “I was worried about you, Alpha. I heard what happened with that woman. I just knew it. She wasn't a good person.”

I managed another smile....
