I turned to Gath and Kristen as they approached me, fear etched on their faces.

“Who brought you here?” Gath asked, I slowly turned back in Agatha's direction but she had disappeared.

“Dominic, whatever brought you here is not human,” Kristen revealed.

“I know,” I bolted out, nodding my head in agreement.

Gath's jaws dropped open. “You knew?”

I scoffed. “What was there not to know? Whatever that thing is, it picked the wrong person to imitate.”

“Agatha,” I revealed. “It came as Agatha.”
