Louisa's eyes fluttered open, her heart racing and her breathing rapid. She was drenched in sweat, and her sheets were tangled around her legs. She sat up with a start, looking around the slightly darkened room in a panic.

"Where are the kids?" Louisa screamed. "Someone took them! Alex!!!"she growled when she realized he's still asleep. She pulled up by the collar and he sprang to life immediately.

"What's... Lou?" He asked dreamily, his eyes still half closed.
