THE NEXT DAY

I yawned, repeatedly as I stretched. I think I was so exhausted last night that I plopped on the bed on getting to my room and fell asleep immediately.

I stirred, blinking away the remnants of sleep. The sun streaming through the window was like a harsh slap, forcing me out of bed. I stretched, yawned, and swung my legs over the side of the bed. Gosh, I didn't want to get up yet. If only I could just sleep all day.
