After the last ritual was performed and my pack Alpha announced Blake and me as mates, I felt happiness bubble up inside me; my life was finally perfect.

 

For as long as I could remember, I've always had a strong quest for power, to rule and be listened to, and today all that could finally come true. Gosh, I couldn't wait to sit on that throne as Luna.

 

"Come with me, Celine, let me formally introduce you to the Pack Beta." Noah, the Obsidian Pack Alpha, smiled brightly at me as he took my hand and led me towards another table.
