Kayla's POV

I watched in shock. Alpha Zeus nearly hurt me with his claws in his attempt to get his hands on his brother, Maicon. I watched as Maicon was thrown into the air and he landed straight on the floor. Alpha Zeus glanced at me and returned the gaze to his brother.

"Have I not warned you already?" I heard him say to his brother. "Stay the heck away from the people I care about! If you don't, I will rip your head off your neck and use your skull to drink wine!"

I scoffed at him. The people he cared about… was I supposed to be on that...
