"Elena, tell me," I said, staring at the two outfits spread across the unmade mattress. "Which one should I wear?"

I was looking at a silvery, skin-tight gown and a cropped top paired with fitted dark trousers.

"If you're trying to impress Alpha Zeus, maybe you should go with the silvery dress," Elena purred back.

Impress Alpha Zeus? The thought was so far-fetched it almost made me laugh out loud. I had asked a basic, practical question, expecting a simple pick between two outfits, but Elena always found a way to make things complicated.
