My ears must have heard the wrong thing. There was definitely no way he would come into the comfort of my premises and open his mouth to spill that gibberish.

"What..did you just say?" I asked in a thick tone.

I heard him clearly. But I still wanted to be sure of it.

He giggled at me. "Alpha Zeus Ludendorff, I have come to negotiate terms with you. What do I have to do to have my woman back?"
