We sat in my car as we headed to the office. My joy was in a way full. From the moment we got into the car till this very minute, her eyes only went off me at intervals. But I pretended not to notice her. I made sure that I focused on the outside.

Oddly, I opened the window just to have more things to look at. This was something that I hardly did. But I had to do it simply to keep myself from the distraction of looking at her.
