Maya sat at her desk, scrolling through her laptop, trying to focus on the article she was writing. She had been tasked with writing a feature on the changing landscape of the werewolf world, and it was proving to be a challenging task.

As she glanced out of the window, she saw Alex walking towards her cabin. Her heart raced with anticipation, feeling excited and nervous at the same time.
