ALESSANDRO'S POV

I feel a tiny body cuddled up against my chest, looking down I see little Avery sleeping soundly. I had planned for a simple nap but I ended up sleeping through the whole night, and the best part, no nightmares. I guess it was knowing Avery is safe with me that halted the nightmares since I always dream about her getting killed in front of me.
