Joseph Hart and Ty's dad look so intense that Ty decides to eavesdrop on the conversation. Even though he can guess who they're talking about.

"How could you let her leave the pack, Joe,” Gareth demands. “What if Alpha Axel sees her?"

"No one knows of the mark, Gee. And she's well dressed with a jacket. No one will see it. Also, let me remind you that your son hurt her! You can't blame her for wanting to be far from here."

Gareth is about to respond but freezes when he senses someone listening.
