Mandy's POV

I looked into the eyes of Mrs Sarah who was keen on knowing exactly what was going on. She still had her glasses on though, so I couldn't tell how enthusiastic she was about knowing what Richard had to say. I thought about putting the call on loudspeaker but I decided against it not knowing what else he'd want to say. It'll have been very weird having him try to woo me in the presence of my mother-in-law. Such impressions weren't needed at all.

"What exactly happened?" I asked Richard. Although I knew what it was, I just needed confirmation so I'd be certain of what to do...
