I felt a surge, on my inside; more like a constant flow of blood, coursing through my veins. It seemed like my senses were heightened as I felt more aware of stuff than I had been in quite a while.

As I stepped out of the house, I felt a cold breeze graze my hair, sending subtle chills down my spine. The usually busy road didn't look so busy anymore. It was getting a bit late and the weather threatened heavy rains.
