As Adrian's hands continued to massage my body, I felt a sense of trust and relaxation wash over me. And then, he dropped a bombshell.

"You know, Estella, I'm a doctor," he said, his voice casual, as if he was sharing a trivial fact.

My eyes snapped open, and I turned to him in surprise. "A doctor?" I repeated, my voice incredulous.
