“What?” She gasped, covering her mouth with her palms. Adrian flushed, trying to hide his reaction by turning his face away.

“Did I just say that to my boss?” She muttered, raising her face at Adrian.

“No, it's fine.” He placed his hand on her shoulder. His light, gentle touch on her raised hormones inside of her body that she fell on his chest. It was a voluntary act, her body and hormones did it without her control.

Adrian jerked back in shock. “Huh?” He liked this but he was still the boss, he had to keep some distance especially when they didn't have a precise relationship with each other....
