“Sorry, the number you're trying to call is not available, try again later.”

“What?” He growled, angry with himself. He tried her number again, this time with his second number to check out if she blocked him or something might have happened to her, it went through.

“Gosh!” He hit his head. “This is annoying. What have I done that she will treat me this way?” He shook his head several times.

“Maybe good people don't always get treated better but the bad ones do,” he muttered. He wondered how she must have been trying to please Cameron, her ex, even while he was treating her like trash...
