The doorbell rings continuously and we all freeze. A maid goes to the door and answers it.
Evera is closest to the door. She frowns, clears her throat and looks very unsettled before standing.
“I’ll go check it out.” she says.
I don’t move. I have a very unsettling and bad feeling that something is about to go very wrong.
A mail delivery man is standing out the door.
“Evera Jacobs?” he asks.
“Yes,” she replies slowly.
“Please sign here.”
She does absentmindedly.
He hands her the envelope.
“Have a good day.”
The door closes.
Silence.
Evera stares at the envelope like it might explode. Jenna leans forward first....
