I get dressed alongside the girls and we go to a club to cheer Evera up, we are dressed to the nines tonight “Evera,” I shout over the music, which is way too loud, “you need to stop sulking and drink something with me!”

Evera glares at me, glass halfway to her lips. “I said I’m fine. I don’t need to drink.”

“You’re absolutely not fine and we are here to get rid of the total gloom so snap out of your funk sweetheart. It's his loss not yours."

Lily rolls her eyes. “Aliana, stop treating her like a toddler. She’s sad, not five.”
