“Something’s wrong” Morrison whispered as he stopped typing and his shoulders slowly hunched forward.
Alvaro stood behind him while Javier and Luciano were at the far table cleaning their weapons.
“Say that again… slowly.” Alvaro suddenly spoke and the room went deadly quiet.
Morrison didn’t blink. Didn’t breathe.
His fingers hovered over the tablet like if he moved too fast, the truth would disappear.
“There’s been a breach,” he said.
My stomach dropped so hard it felt like the babies inside me shifted with it.
“No,” Javier said immediately, shaking his head. “That’s not possible.. Not with your system.”
