Amaya's pov 

 I barely make it through first period.

 My mind won't stop racing. Cara's alive. She's here. Which means the facility's reach might extend here too. Which means I might have led danger straight to the people I care about.

 To my mates.

 The thought makes my stomach twist violently. I've spent two years being invisible, keeping my head down, making sure no one looked too closely at me. And then the bond happened, and suddenly I'm visible. Connected to three of the most prominent guys on campus.

 If anyone from the facility is watching, they'll see me now. They'll see my mates.

 My phone vibrates in my pocket...
