 The detention level is chaos.

 We cleared it in under ten minutes—faster than anticipated. Freed twenty-three prisoners, neutralized six guards, secured the floor. Now Morrison's team is evacuating the survivors while we push deeper into the facility.

 Everything's going according to plan.

 Then I feel it through the bond. Amaya's spike of fear. Sharp and sudden.

 "Something's wrong," I say, already moving.

 "She's three floors up with the extraction team," Javier says through comms. "She should be safe—"

 Another surge of emotion through the bond. Not fear this time. Fury.

 I'm running before anyone can stop me.

 "Alvaro, wait—" Luciano calls, but I'm already gone.
