I jumped back to my feet in embarrassment when Kathy walks in amused. Kathy looks over at Nolan who was surprised as well while trying to avoid his gaze from me.

"I don't wanna be the killjoy, but would you mind leaving us alone?" Kathy asks as she emphasizes on the last word.
