“Alice? Where are you?” I heard his voice call out.

“I am in the bedroom,” I replied, walking towards him.

“Are you okay? You sounded like you screamed in your sleep.”

“Yeah,” I muttered, opening the bedroom door and walking inside.

He instantly pulled me to him, wrapping his arms around me tightly. His warm breath was caressing my skin as his lips moved up and down, pressing small kisses on the top of my head.

He placed a gentle kiss on my forehead. “Why did you scream, Alice?”

“Just a nightmare.” I shrugged.

“Nightmare? Do you remember it? Did it scare you?” He asked worriedly.
