I cannot believe this.

I just broke an engagement.

I look up to Carter and he looks at his phone boringly.

"What the heck are you saying, Whitney?" Brandon says with shock, I cannot blame him, I should have thought that Carter has a fiancé.

What?! I don't understand?

Brandon looks at me and he sees my face scrunching in confusion. He leans in close to me and whispers.

"They are not together or anything, they are actually fuck buddies."

Ohhh now I get it, anyway I don't care about him.

"Stop lying to yourself, obviously you're in love with him!"

"Nobody asked you!" I yell.
