I'm scared.

We came home, worn and betrayed...especially my dad, but mostly I'm afraid of Carter, the worst nightmare. I decide to not obey his orders so I throw the paper and burn it then I go to my bed and sleep through the cold storm in New York.

Morning.

The sound of the birds coming through my ears, I blink my eyes to see the sky but the same as usual the sky grey and depressing in October. I wake up and take my phone from my nightstand, I see that I have 6 notifications from Leo, Myla and an unknown.
