Isabelle walked inside the halls of a magnificent villa in Barcelona.
And as what Alaric told her earlier, it was their father's latest acquisition.
"Where is Dad?" She asked as she looked at the cathedral ceilings, instantly enamored with his surroundings.
Who knows? Maybe at some golf course or fishing or hunting," Alaric chuckled as he brought Isabelle’s luggage with him.
"Alaric, there are no servants here?"
"It's Sunday, Dad gave them a day off." Her brother replied with a smile.
Isabelle smiled at him, they might have grown up rich with a lot of influence, but their parents made sure that they knew how to put their feet firmly on the ground.
They were raised to do laundry and wash dishes but one thing that Isabelle never got used to was to cook.
"Where's my room?" She asked loudly.
"Just choose, there are 20 rooms in the house, 5 master bedrooms, so take your pick." Alaric laughed as he opened the doors to a beautiful room that has a pool and ocean views.
"Wow, bro!" Isabella exclaimed, "this is gorgeous!"
"Like I told you, it's Dad’s latest acquisition." He said, ruffling his sister’s hair.
Isabelle immediately jumped on the bed and just looked at the high ceilings and bright sunlight inside the room.
"When is Andrea coming?" Isabelle asked, closing her eyes, basking at the beauty that surrounded her.
"I will just give her a call later." Alaric replied as he stepped out of the balcony. "How come no one took this particular room?" She asked.
"Because it's for you." Alaric replied, "before I forget, I have something for you."
"What is it?" Isabelle asked.
"It's your black card. Dad was supposed to give it to you after Mum died but you left." Alaric handed it to her.
"How much is the credit limit?" She asked him, eyeing him warily.
"You can buy an island with that card." He replied.
"Dad was supposed to give it to you because you ran our business in Tokyo and earned revenue, so that was supposed to be his reward then Mum died."
Isabelle joined her brother on the balcony, enjoying the scenic views that were in front of her.
This was such a great way to welcome her back and she does not regret the decisions she made in the past 72 hours although thinking about the alpha made her heart ache a little.
But it was minor, something trivial and unimportant. It's not even worth a sliver of her attention.
What is most important right now is for her to seize control back in her life and come back like a hurricane, powerful and unstoppable.

Alison walked inside Zayden’s building. She walked holding her head high, finally relieved that Isabella finally left Zayden.
She approached the beta secretary and said, "Hi Annika, is your boss there?"
Annika gave her a small smile, "he is in a bad mood," she warned.
"I know how to calm him down," the omega smirked at her. Alison knocked before entering.
Zayden was sitting down, his face on the palm of his hands.
"Hey, Zade," she said, sizing up the alpha.
Zayden looked at her, "Alison, I spoke to your doctor."
"Oh, why? Is there something wrong?" Alison asked, sitting at the chair by Zayden’s desk.
"Isabelle left me and since your blood transfusion is in three weeks, I sought your doctor's advice," Zayden looked dead serious.
Alison held her breath, she didn't like where this was going, "we can ask the Red Cross."
She said as he tried to reach out to Zayden.
Zayden opened his desk drawer and took out an envelope with a few hundred dollars.
"This is your plane ticket to Seoul South Korea," he stated.
"Why do I need a plane ticket and money?" Alison asked in horror.
"Because Dr. Cole said that there is a blood bank in New York with a lot of AB-, so until you get better, you will stay in Seoul," Zayden said seriously, raking his fingers through his hair.
"But you promised Kyle you would take care of me! Zayden, you promised!" Alison insisted.
Zayden stood up and went to the coffee bar and got some coffee, poured it into two cups. He gave Alison a cup, as he tried to find the words to say.
Alison sipped her coffee, lost for words. Her plans were being spoiled by this sickness, by the lie so Zayden would listen to her every request.
Alison released sour pheromones, unsure of what to do.
Zayden reached out to her and held her hands.
"This is me caring for you, doing the best for you!" He said sincerely.
Alison did not know what to say, she thought now that Zayden is finally free, she is being sent away because of blood.
"How long do I need to stay there?" Alison asked in a soft, shaky voice.
"Two years. You will be staying at Kyle’s old apartment and I will visit you as much as I can," he replied.
There was no use arguing now because everything was set. The next two years will be the longest two years and for the first time in her life, Alison lost control.
Zayden just left the office once It was 8 pm and as much as he wanted to show that he knew what he was doing, the events of this morning was something he did not expect.
He just signed the divorce papers and he felt that for the first time in his life, he relinquished control of a situation to his ex-wife.
He scrolled through his phone the moment Alison left because for sure he had a picture of Isabelle somewhere.
There has to be because deep in his heart he knew that he failed someone.
When they had the accident, that was the first time he ever felt helpless, frozen, paralyzed and he hated every minute of it.
Seeing his best friend pass away in front of his eyes was definitely jarring and he promised himself, not to fail others most especially himself.
He finally found that single picture he had of Isabelle.
It was a picture taken after their wedding, shot by the court clerk because she felt sorry that no one came to their wedding rites.
So beautiful, Zayden thought, most especially seeing Isabelle with her bare face. That moment left an imprint in his mind.
Isabelle smelled so sweet that day and he felt bad enough that he did not stay behind at the hospital after she fainted.
He did not stay behind because Alison said that she was light-headed and tired and as guilt consumed him every single day, he had to oblige, ignoring the emotions he was starting to feel for his wife.

He pressed the elevator button and waited for it to arrive.
The elevator doors opened and he stepped in it with the mellow jazz sounds that played.
He furrowed his brow, trying to remember what Ezra told him earlier.
'You did not give a f*ck about Isabelle before, why would you care now?'
He remembered Ezra asking him earlier. He doesn't even know why he is obsessing over someone he just lost.
Was it because for the first time, he thought he could have everything when he in fact did not?
He could not even hate Isabelle because at the end of the day, he does not know who she really was and never cared to find out.
He stepped out of the elevators and walked to his car.
His phone started ringing.
"Hello mother," he answered.
"We heard that your ungrateful spouse left you. I hope you did not allow that gold digging sl*t to milk us dry? How much money did she take from you?" his mother asked.
"Mum, she didn't take anything, in fact, she didn't touch the money."
"she must have a sugar daddy. she must have replaced you instantaneously without you knowing," She said.
Zayden stopped in his tracks, "Mother, I am going to have to call you later, okay?"
"Okay, fine whatever, so what are you going to do with the money she returned?" She asked.
"Mother, I am going to call you later okay?" Zayden said in a clipped tone.
"Okay, call me." She said
Zayden immediately dialed the Butler’s phone.
"Hello Master Prescott?"
"Can you tell me what kind of car Isabelle left with?" Zayden asked, biting the nail on his thumb.
"Oh, sir, I looked it up, it's a Ferrari Purosangue, it's the first time I have seen such beauty," the butler shared.
"Do you remember who picked her up?" Zayden held his breath.
"It was a man named Alaric and someone else called Jackson sir," the Butler responded.
"Oh, do you remember if it was Alaric Foxworth?" Zayden asked curiously.
"I am not sure, Master Prescott," The Butler responds sounding apologetic.
"Don't worry about it Williams, you have told me what I needed to know," he responded.
