When Ola arrived at the dorm room, Lydia was waiting for her as promised. Ola’s room became theirs.

 Lydia had unofficially moved in to avoid the bullies who kept trashing her room. They kept it a secret and had fun sneaking in and out.

“You took so long,” Lydia complained, pouting as soon as Ola closed the door. “I made tea for you,” she grinned, offering the now lukewarm cup to her friend.

“You’re only curious to see what Serena sent me,” Ola chuckled softly. Serena became a feature in her life. It felt strange to be surrounded after an agonizing eternity of solitude.
