Zahra lay in the bed. The movie was still playing but she couldn’t focus any longer. 

Asher’s presence felt suddenly overwhelming. His scent lingered in the air and seemed to coat her tongue. His warmth had her shiver.

“I find your self-control, if I may call it that, admirable yet annoying,” Zahra said, shifting on her side to look at Asher.
