Ola sat next to Lydia. They watched Earl and Serena sway slowly to the music. 

Serena had a small smile. He rested his head against Earl’s chest. 

Her hand spread next to her face, surely feeling the steady heartbeat.

 Earl rested his cheek on Serena’s head. His eyes closed as they moved slowly.

“I thought that all soulmates are like them,” Ola said, leaning against Lydia.

 “It was what I thought I would have as well,” she sighed but still her lips stretched into a discreet smile. The couple was completely immersed in their bubble.

“Me too,” Lydia nudged her friend.

 “Now, perhaps, I think I don’t want it anymore....
